In the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a female unit for unmanned aerial vehicles has appeared. A competitive selection for this unit is already underway.
This was reported by public figure and current serviceman Igor Lutsenko.
This is a small volunteer unit that will be engaged in unmanned aviation systems, in close integration with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Requirements
The unit requires working with (relatively) complex systems, which requires technical literacy, attentiveness, and precision, basic engineering skills, and creative tactical thinking.
- Knowledge and experience in piloting, operating, repairing, servicing UAVs, or similar systems will be a plus.
- Military skills, from sapper to medic or marksman, won't hurt.
- Experience in programming, working in technical specialties (electronics, radio, etc.) will also be a plus.
How to apply
To apply, it is necessary to fill out the form.
There will be the following stages:
- competitive selection;
- determination of how capable candidates are of performing combat tasks within the unit;
- training, which is also a method of selection;
- SBU checks;
- and then - the final decision on enrollment in the unit.
Men who wish to serve in the army and work with UAVs can also submit their information in the same form.
