One of the participants of the defense-tech cluster Brave1 has developed a trench radio-electronic warfare (REW) system called PARASOL. It has two modifications that differ in their purpose. Ukranian's minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov reported about it.
PARASOL 01 version is designed to protect military positions from Russian FPV drones. It provides protection within a range of 200 meters.
At the same time, PARASOL 02 version is designed to protect vehicles. It can be installed and connected to the onboard network. This system also jams drones within a range of 200 meters.
One of the key advantages of the PARASOL system is its invisibility to enemy REW. Another advantage is considered to be the ease of use. It is possible to learn how to use both modifications of the REW system in 10-15 minutes.
The Ukranian government has already ordered both modifications of the PARASOL system from the manufacturer - MixStil company, and the Defense Forces actively use them.
Currently, the Brave1 platform has registered over 100 developments, and 9 of them have already been codified according to NATO standards.
