In the April statistical survey conducted by Steam, three noticeable trends can be observed. The share of Intel processors dropped to 65.63% after a recent increase to 68.1%, the number of laptops with RTX 3060 and RTX 4060 increased, and the share of Windows 11 is steadily growing, despite its overall slight decrease recently.

It is difficult to say whether the growth in the share of AMD processors was influenced by the recent update of the Ryzen 8000 laptop lineups and the spread of desktop Ryzen 8000G chips, but the change is very noticeable, albeit not very significant - 2.24% in favor of AMD, with a total share of 33.46%. This is more than in March, although it lags behind the 34.25% in January.

Among video cards, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, the leader, slightly reduced its share to 5.55% (-1.16%). Some RTX 3000 and RTX 4000 video cards are growing in number, while the quantity of some is decreasing, but overall the number of RTX cards is increasing. A noticeable increase in the number of laptops available with RTX 3060 and RTX 4060, as well as desktop RTX 3050 and, oddly enough, the discontinued GTX 1650, can be observed.

The share of Windows 11 among Steam users is steadily growing and currently stands at 45.15% (+3.54%). This contradicts the general trend - according to recent data, the percentage of Windows 11 in the world has even slightly decreased. Linux (1.90%) still prevails over MacOS (1.35%), and this is not surprising: Arch Linux is essentially Steam Deck.

English language in Steam is once again the most popular with 33.18% (+0.64%), simplified Chinese noticeably fell behind with 30.31% (-3.12%). Ukrainian 0.66% (+0.06%) also fluctuates around Italian and slightly outpaces it 0.61% (+0.01%).
