It seems that Valve's CEO Gabe Newell is currently interested in a new project. On the Starfish company website, which is involved in the development of neurointerfaces, in the "Our Team" section, among others, you can also find a photo of Gabe Newell. He is listed as a co-founder of the company.
It should be noted that recently Gabe Newell has not shown much media activity. The last time he appeared in front of the cameras was over a year ago during the filming of a documentary about Half-Life. However, the head of Valve did not appear at the opening of the annual Dota 2 tournament The International 2023, as many expected. And now, after a long break, you can see not him himself, but a new photo that shows significant differences from the previous image of Gabe Newell.
The new photo of Gabe Newell indicates that the head of Valve has significantly slimmed down compared to his previous photos. He also changed his hairstyle - now he has much shorter hair. The beard also looks slightly smaller. Furthermore, in the new photo, Newell looks younger than in previous pictures - his face has smoother skin with fewer wrinkles. So, working on the new project has benefited him.
