The Twitch service has updated its community rules and banned the focus on breasts and buttocks in streams. According to the update, starting from March 29, "content that focuses on intimate parts of the body for a prolonged period of time will not be allowed."
This move is a deliberate response to a new trend on Twitch, where streamers project the gameplay onto specific parts of their body, particularly the chest or buttocks, using them as a sort of green screen.
This trend was popularized by the streamer Morgpie, known for pushing the boundaries of Twitch policy. Earlier this month, she streamed herself playing Fortnite, with the gameplay projected onto her buttocks.

During another broadcast, she was wearing a green shirt with cutouts, allowing viewers to only see her head and chest. Other streamers have also utilized this new projection technique of the gameplay onto different body parts. However, after the rules update, such activity will be prohibited.
This is not the first attempt by Twitch to regulate excessive sexualization in streams. In December, Twitch relaxed the rules and allowed the "intentional highlighting of chest, buttocks, or pelvic area," if the video carries a special warning label for viewers. There were also some other relaxations regarding sexual content in streams. However, a few days later, the company reversed this relaxation as streamers began to abuse it. Then, in January, Twitch again updated its regulations to prohibit implicit nudity after creators, including Morgpie, streamed themselves from an angle that suggested they were not clothed.
