The price for the latest Toyota Camry 2025 sedan in the US starts at $29.5 thousand.

Sales of the Toyota Camry 2025 have started in the US, offering most of the technical advantages and features that have helped it become the best-selling sedan for the past 22 years, with one important difference - there are no longer versions with only a gasoline engine.

The new Camry, which will be available at official dealers this spring, has abandoned the old V6 in favor of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine (instead of 2.0 in the new Prius), complemented by an electric motor. Thanks to the hybrid system, the base model will be able to travel 51 miles per gallon of gasoline - 1 mile less than the current generation of hybrid Camry, but significantly more than the version with only a gasoline engine (32 miles per gallon).

Prices for various versions of the Toyota Camry 2025 in the US

The starting price of the 2025 Camry is $28,400, which is $1,980 more than the current base gasoline model, but about $400 cheaper than the current hybrid Camry offered as an option. The price of the top version of the Toyota Camry 2025 SE AWD with the Premium Plus package and two-tone paint is $42,220. For comparison, the 2024 Honda Accord hybrid costs $33,990 in the base configuration, and the 2024 Hyundai Sonata costs $31,950. So the new Camry looks quite competitive. The new model has received an updated design and has retained its characteristic huge radiator grille, which is essential.

Unfortunately, this is still just a regular hybrid HEV, not a full plug-in hybrid (PHEV) with the ability to charge the battery and travel short distances on electric power only.

Despite the general trend of declining demand for passenger vehicles with internal combustion engines worldwide and in the US in particular, where compact crossovers, SUVs, and pickups are in trend, Toyota sedans (full-size Camry and compact Corolla) still remain at the top. In 2023, the Camry became the second most popular Toyota in the US with sales of 290,649 units (the first being RAV4), with only 35,445 of them being hybrids. In general, hybrids accounted for 29% of Toyota's total sales in the US in 2023.
