ASUS has announced that it will present the first laptop with Snapdragon X Elite on May 20. Speakers from Qualcomm and Microsoft will be presenting at the event. The event will be virtual, but there is no mention of a live stream. However, ASUS has created a special page for the event, which will be active on May 7.
"ASUS today announced the Next Level event. AI Incredible. The virtual launch event will take place on May 20, 2024, at 11:00 Pacific Standard Time (May 20, 2024, at 8:00 Greenwich Mean Time). This long-awaited exclusively online event will feature an ultra-portable premium-class laptop, which is ASUS' first AI PC of a new era. The event, which will showcase a collaboration between Microsoft, Qualcomm, and ASUS, marks the first computers with AI from ASUS of the new era, which are expected to change the very structure of computing. This revolutionary generation of AI-based technologies will open up new horizons in the digital landscape."
The company has not yet disclosed the technical specifications of the new Vivobook S. ASUS confirms the premium segment for the Vivobook S, as well as the presence of "innovative AI features" and "unrivaled performance." Unfortunately, nothing is known about the price either.
"At Computex 2024 in Taipei, participants will have the unique opportunity to firsthand experience the lineup of ASUS AI PCs and much more. This long-awaited event will showcase a diverse range of advanced products, offering participants a glimpse into the future of technology."
